The New iPad

Apple held a press conference to present what will be the new third generation iPad (that is its definitive name: “New iPad”). As it was expected by many, Apple has decided to include the new “retina” screen in the iPad, improving their image quality to higher levels than the Full HD TVs. The “new iPad” with an aesthetic almost identical to its predecessor, the iPad 2, has an improved processor that will make it incredibly fast when using heavy applications and games. (A point: some have said that graphic memory and resolution is above that of the PS3 and Xbox 360. This I hardly believe).

The new iSight camera of 5 megapixels takes all the new features included in its younger brother, the iPhone 4S, which will be a luxury for all those who like taking pictures. As a added bonus it has high definition video recording with which you can use to record the feast you went the other night with colleagues without losing any detail.

The “new iPad” launched in Spainon March 23 with the 16, 32 and 64 GB models identical to the current model prices: 479, 579 and 679€ for the WiFi model and 599, 699 and 799€ for the model 4 G WiFi.

For those for which this seems an excessive price, the 2 16 GB iPad has substantial drop in its price to 399€and  the WiFi version to 519€. A fairly competitive price to gain ground against the other tablets.
